CMA Per Diem

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our healthcare team in Kansas. The CMA will be responsible for administering routine medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse and providing support with basic care tasks as needed. This position plays a key role in maintaining resident health, safety, and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
Administer oral, topical, and other approved medications as prescribed by a licensed physician
Document medication administration accurately in accordance with facility policies and state regulations
Monitor residents for adverse reactions or side effects and promptly report concerns to nursing staff
Assist with basic resident care tasks such as hygiene, dressing, and mobility (as directed)
Maintain proper storage, handling, and disposal of medications
Ensure compliance with KDADS regulations and facility protocols
Assist with documentation in residents’ medical records
Participate in care team meetings and communicate effectively with nursing and support staff
Promote resident rights, privacy, and independence at all times
